Ambassador Qu Zhe pays a farewell call on Estonian Minister of Rural Affairs

On 5 December, the Chinese Ambassador to Estonia Mr. Qu Zhe paid a farewell call on the Estonian Minister of Rural Affairs Mr. Tarmo Tamm.

The Ambassador gave a brief overview on the successful cooperation in agricultural sector between China and Estonia for the past five years. He pointed out that agricultural cooperation had been one of the highlights of the win-win cooperation between the two countries. He appreciated that the Estonian Ministry of Rural Affairs and the Minister himself had attached great importance in cooperation with their Chinese counterpart. The Ambassador hoped the Ministry would continue working together with relevant departments and institutions in China so as to bring more benefits to the businesses and peoples in the two countries.

The Minister was satisfied with the fruitful cooperation in agriculture between Estonia and China. He was pleased that the two countries signed several agreements on agriculture, which laid a solid foundation for practical cooperation between Estonian and Chinese enterprises. The Minister thanked the Ambassador for supporting and facilitating exchanges and cooperation between departments and institutions in agriculture sector between Estonia and China. He said the Ministry remained committed to bringing the mutually beneficial cooperation to the next level.
