Ambassador Qu Zhe pays a farewell call on Estonian Minister of Entrepreneurship and Information Technology

On 6 December, the Chinese Ambassador to Estonia Mr. Qu Zhe paid a farewell call on the Estonian Minister of Entrepreneurship and Information Technology Ms. Urve Palo.

The Ambassador said the economic and trade relations between China and Estonia are developing in a good momentum. An increasing number of Chinese and Estonian enterprises have had successful cooperation in recent years. He thanked the Ministry and the Minister herself for supporting and promoting business relations between the two countries. The Ambassador pointed out that Estonia has rich experience in IT sector and both countries should strengthen their cooperation in this area at bilateral level and within β€œ16+1” format. The Ambassador hoped the Ministry will continue working hand in hand with relevant departments and institutions of China to implement the outcome of the 6th Meeting of Heads of Government of China and Central and Eastern European Countries so as to bring the mutually beneficial cooperation to the next level.

Minister Palo was satisfied with the practical cooperation between Estonia and China and spoke positively of the work of the Ambassador. She said that Estonian Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications and herself will strengthen cooperation with the Chinese side to carry out cooperation agreements and achieve more tangible results.
