However, the two cities have a lot in common. The upcoming "Pärnu-Qingdao" business seminar is a great opportunity and platform for both sides.” Said Mr. Kosenkranius. The mayor thanked Ambassador Li for his visit and support to the seminar and was confident that the two cities would further strengthen exchanges and cooperation. In order to further promote cooperation with other cities, Pärnu city government had set up a business development center and more enterprises of Pärnu were expected to enter China’s market in the future.

Ambassador Li said that Pärnu was a seaside resort with geographical advantage, good natural environment and a well-developed manufacturing industry, which was a great potential for cooperation with Chinese cities. “I am glad to see that the cooperation between Pärnu and Qingdao has developed rapidly and hope the two cities can make their relations closer and achieve more results in cooperation in the future. The Chinese Embassy is willing to continuely promote local exchanges and cooperation between the two countries so as to achieve a win-win situation.” The Ambassador said.
