China and the US Sign the Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperating to Prevent Illicit Trafficking in Nuclear and Other Radioactive Materials

On November 19, 2005, representatives of the General Administration of Customs of China, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of China and the US Department of Energy signed in Beijing the Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperating to Prevent Illicit Trafficking in Nuclear and Other Radioactive Materials in a bid to strengthening Sino-American cooperation in the area of anti-terrorism and non-proliferation.
